What is this virtual event about?

Diamonds Do Good® will convene viewpoints on the future of the natural diamond and jewelry industry from De Beers’ Bruce Cleaver, Signet’s Gina Drosos, Alrosa’s Sergey Ivanov, Rosy Blue’s Russell Mehta and Chow Tai Fook’s Kent Wong in a live interactive event. Diamonds Do Good co-founder and civil rights advocate Dr. Benjamin Chavis will give opening remarks.

This will be the first in a series of virtual gatherings that Diamonds Do Good plans on hosting in the months to come. In between the global observations will be special ‘segment interludes,’ including Victoria Gomelsky announcing the winner of the Diamonds Do Good Jewelry Awards in partnership with JCK announced earlier this year.

This event is from 11:00AM -11:45AM EDT on July 30th. The session is an hour long and is pre-recorded. Pre-recording allows the speakers to spend the entire session period in the attendee chat answering your burning questions. At the same time, you’ll be able to communicate with the other attendees through the same chat.

This conference exists in the virtual space, as it gives us the opportunity to bring together professionals from around the world.

How can I ask speakers questions during the event?

The session is pre-recorded so that the speakers can spend the time answering attendee questions. They will be typing furiously to reply to as many questions as possible in the live chat!

This will depend on individual preference of our speakers.
