Aisha Al-Muslim is the senior editor for newsroom internships at The Wall Street Journal.
Previously, she was a reporter covering bankruptcy and breaking business news. Before joining
the Journal, Aisha was a business reporter and town reporter at Newsday, where she was a 2014
Pulitzer Prize finalist for a series on police misconduct. She also was editor of the Spanish-
language community newspaper, El Correo de Queens, and a reporter for its sister newspaper,
the Queens Courier. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Craig Newmark
Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree from Lehman College. During school,
she completed six internships.
