Aliza is a certified rehabilitation counselor and has been a career support specialist at Virginia Commonwealth University for the ACE-IT in College Program for four years. ACE-IT is an inclusive postsecondary education program, and her role in the program is to develop paid campus employment, off-campus internships, and permanent employment for when students graduate. Aliza is getting her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and is interested in research on postsecondary education, transition, and religion and disability.
