Ally Berger

Ally Berger is the Senior Director of News at Bay News 9, Spectrum Networks’ 24-hour news channel in the Tampa-St. Petersburg market. Ally also oversees the ‘Hub’ as part of the National Content Group for Spectrum Networks serving the Networks’ channels and viewers all over the country. Ally started at Bay News 9 in 1999, working first as a weekend producer, then as Executive Producer, and then as Assistant News Director. Ally believes in an organic, genuine, connected storytelling style to best reach the viewers and keep linear journalism relevant and crucial in the lives of the audience. News in Florida also means a healthy dose of storm coverage, and Ally has been leading our weather experts and journalists through hurricanes and tropical systems for more than two decades.
