Angel Jennings is the assistant managing editor for culture and talent at the Los Angeles Times. In this new role, she oversees recruiting efforts and staff development. She also heads up the summer internship and Metpro Diversity Fellowship Program. For almost a decade, she was a metro reporter covering L.A.’s Black communities. Angel is a Washington, D.C. native but considers L.A. her adopted home.
