Annemarie Veira, CRC

Annemarie Veira currently works as a coordinator for Disability Resources at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and is a certified rehabilitation counselor. Prior to working for SVA, Annemarie worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for a vendor of ACESS-VR of NYS. Annemarie holds a master’s degree in education, from Hunter College in Rehabilitation Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in English-Creative Writing from Fairfield University. Prior to working in the counseling field, Annemarie’s first career goals to work in the arts and entertainment field as a writer and move into higher education. Annemarie originally from Northern Westchester county, was one of the first students with disabilities to complete her K-12 education mainstreamed. Annemarie identifies as a person with a disability and has Cerebral Palsy.
