Annette Hanson

Anne Hanson, MD is the Director of the University of Maryland Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program and an assistant professor of psychiatry. She has faculty appointments at both University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. She is active with American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and is a consulting psychiatrist in the Division of Correction. Dr. Hanson is a past Chair of the Maryland Psychiatric Society (MPS) Forensic Committee, and the current Chair of the MPS Legislative Committee as well as an APA Assembly Representative. She has also served on the MPS Communications and Women’s Issues Committees and is a former MPS Council member.
