Ashley Pulliam

Ashley Pulliam is an award-winning Executive Producer at WFAA in Dallas, TX. While not only overseeing the team daily to ensure a quality newscast, she’s worked on projects at the station like Rooted: A series dedicated to black hair, Before the bell: newscasts dedicated to navigating the new normal during the pandemic for parents, Fair Enough: stories that brought the Texas State Fair feel to our viewers when it was canceled. Previously, she was the senior morning producer in Atlanta where she helped create ​Morning Rush, one of the flagship morning shows at TEGNA; winning a 2018 Emmy as we ‘break the mold’ of traditional news. She began her career at First Coast News, the Jacksonville ABC/NBC affiliate where she started as an editor, eventually working her way to producing the highest rated how at the station. Her love of journalism began at Howard University where she was able to work on capitol hill and form mentors in the industry immediately.
