Ben Ohebshalom

Ben Ohebshalom has over 30 years of experience in development and real-estate asset management. He has a talent for maximizing NOI and has developed a keen eye for residential real estate strategy. Ben graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Development, and he has a degree in construction management. Ben has overseen several complex construction projects in buildings across Manhattan, including complete rehab projects, floor additions, and building extensions. His management firm, Sky Management Corp., completed its first ground up development project in 2016 of a 20 story, 82 unit, 100,000 sq. ft. luxury rental building at 501 East 74th Street. Ben has an eye for detail and has been researching passive house design and standards since the conclusion of his latest project—the largest non-subsidized passive house rental building in North America. The 22 story building on 515 East 86th Street in Manhattan is 140,000 sq. ft. and has 140 units. He is a strong advocate for passive house construction and design, and believes it is the future of construction in Manhattan and around the world. Ben is very proud to have won the New York State NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Award for the 515 East 86 St. Passive House.
