Bill Hueber

Bill Hueber currently serves as a Vice President with HUB International Northeast, focusing on Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty Insurance. Based out of the Hauppauge, NY office, Bill joined HUB in 2013. Bill holds over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry starting his career as an underwriter at MetLife. In 1996, Bill transitioned from underwriting to sales. Using what he learned from his underwriting background, Bill established himself as an expert in alternate funding arrangements. In his current role, Bill advises both small and mid-size employers groups on their employee benefit program. Combining his knowledge of self-funding, minimum premium, consumer driven healthcare, and healthcare reform with HUB’s resources and capabilities, Bill is able to work with his clients to develop a 3 to 5 year strategy for controlling and maintain insurance cost. In addition to specializing in medical insurance, Bill also advises his clients on their ancillary coverages such as dental, vision, life, disability voluntary benefits and wellness initiatives. Bill holds a Life, Accident & Health License and Property & Casualty License in New York State. Bill resides in West Islip, NY with his wife Mary and three children.
