Candace Johnson

Candace Johnson leads diversity, equity and inclusion communications as well as CSR external communications at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Prior to her current role, she was a communications professional in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 10 years. She holds a B.A. in journalism from Michigan State University and spent the first half of her career as a newspaper reporter, copy editor and features editor at the Grand Rapids Press, The Virginian-Pilot and The Indianapolis Star. She lives in the northwest Chicago suburbs with her husband and two kids and will fight anyone who claims that “The Wire” isn’t the best TV show of all time.
