Chad Tew is an education entrepreneur and founder of LearnCollab®, which provides learning communities with a platform and tools to explore program collaboration, co-ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
Chad is a life-long educator and former independent school CFO, who has also held college leadership positions in admission and marketing. He has taught courses at UCLA in Marketing and Business Plan Development, is a co-founder of the K-8 Wesley School in North Hollywood, and early in his career customized enrollment marketing software for the MIT Sloan School and Georgetown University. Chad also has deep experience in school financial aid and pricing, bond financing and campus construction, and demographic market analysis.
Chad earned his MBA in entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business, where he serves as a Senior Fellow, a member of the Social Enterprise Lab Advisory Board, and the New Venture Seed Competition judge. In 2019 Chad earned the designation of Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor from the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. He holds a BA in English from the University of Utah and has done post grad studies in Economics at Harvard Business School. Chad consults, writes, and speaks widely on topics including education sector disruption, financial and enrollment sustainability, and school collaboration.
