Cherie Buisson

Dr. Cherie Buisson is a 2000 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is one of the first Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarians in the world and the first to practice in the state of Florida. She is also certified in Low Stress Handling (TM) and QPR Suicide Prevention. She is the owner of Helping Hands Pet Hospice, a mobile hospice and euthanasia practice as well as A Happy Vet, a website dedicated to wellness for veterinary professionals. When she practices what she preaches, Dr. Buisson enjoys cycling, nature photography, quilting, canoeing, and reading. She lives in Largo, Florida with her husband, Derek, two crazy dachshunds, one cat, and too many aquariums.
