Cheryl Carver

Cheryl Carver, graduated with her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation from the University of Northern Colorado. She began working for Colorado’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in 2000 as a rehabilitation counselor. Over the past sixteen years, she has advanced in the Youth Services and Transition Unit to Manager. Currently, she provides technical assistance and training to DVR, Education and agency partners around federal regulations pertaining to transition youth within the VR system, monitors third party cooperative agreements and other school to work initiatives. Cheryl is involved at the state level in collaborative efforts designed to improve post school outcomes for students with disabilities to decrease the prosperity gap.
