Christian Sockel

Christian P. Sockel is the Assistant Head of School for Institutional Giving at The Hill School, Pottstown, PA. He has served in this role for 14 years and has 21 years of experience in academic fundraising, plus six years practicing law prior thereto. In his current role at The Hill, Christian manages all aspects of the fundraising program plus the recruitment and retention of trustees, while also carrying his own pool of alumni and parent donors, both domestic and international. Christian is overseeing the largest comprehensive campaign in The Hill’s history – a $175 million effort. Christian is a trustee and Chair of the Advancement Committee at his alma mater, Ursinus College.
