Christine Bowley

Christine Bowley is the Assistant News Director at the original Action News in Philadelphia. In her role at 6ABC, she’s helped recruit and grow talent and shift the newsroom towards new digital goals and platforms. Christine started her career in Washington, D.C., after graduating from the University of Maryland with a Broadcast Journalism and Economics double major. Since then, she’s produced newscasts in Raleigh, N.C. and lead newsrooms in Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida. In all of those markets, Christine has been involved in coverage of snow storms, hurricanes, tornadoes and everything in between. She also earned an Emmy award for Best Newscast from the night in 2011 when dozens of tornadoes swept through N.C.
