Claude Balthazard

Claude Balthazard is the Registrar and Vice-President Regulation at the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). Pursuant to the Registered Human Resources Professionals Act, 2013, HRPA is the statutory professional regulatory body for Human Resources professionals in Ontario. Claude’s responsibilities include ensuring that HRPA is diligently discharging its statutory mandate of promoting and protecting the public interest by governing and regulating the practice of members, firms, and students. Claude has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Waterloo, is a registered psychologist in the Province of Ontario, and holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation. He joined HRPA in March 2007.
