Dadrian Robinson joined the NBC Universal team in 2017 as a producer in her hometown Miami, with NBC South Florida. Since then, she has transitioned within the NBC family to her current role at NBC DFW as a Senior Producer for the Morning Shows; where she just marked 1 year this past December. With more than a decade of producing under her belt, Dadrian has worked with several different television stations- all of which were in her home state of Florida. Some of the markets she has worked in includes Orlando, FL with FOX 35 and Jacksonville, FL with two different stations: First Coast News and WJXT- Channel 4. She is a graduate of the #1 HBCU in the nation- Florida A&M University, where she received her Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism. FAMU was where Dadrian learned her love for television and developed her skills as a journalist. Through her college journalism program, Dadrian got an internship for the local ABC affiliate in Tallahassee, FL. At the end of that internship term, she was offered her first professional position in the industry as a part-time editor. From there, Dadrian was able to secure her first producer position as a morning show producer at the CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, while still attending college full-time. She is currently a part of the National Association of Black Journalists, Society of Professional Journalists as well as the Black Employee Network through NBC Universal. As a black woman, Dadrian is looking forward to continuing to tell the stories of her community and change the narrative of African Americans across the country.
