Danny Carroll
MSW, LSW
Danny Carroll is a Ph.D. student at the Indiana University School of Social Work. His primary research interest is the intersectionality of social work and international peace-building and the decolonialization of international social work education. Prior to his doctorate study, Danny was the Executive Director of the Heart and Soul Free Clinic of Westfield, IN, a nonprofit providing free medical and dental care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Central Indiana. With his wife, he established an international NGO focused on orphan care, prevention and the empowerment of women in Burundi where they adopted their son. Danny currently sits on the board of Partnership for a Healthy Hamilton County (PHHC), a coalition building non-profit which seeks to advocate for Hamilton County residents. He received his BSW from Indiana Wesleyan University and his MSW from Indiana University.
