David Gibson

David Gibson is a 10-time Emmy Award-winning producer and storyteller with 30 years of
experience delivering remote, studio and unscripted events to broadcast and streaming
audiences. David’s 28 years at NBC Sports spans 14 Olympics, 5 Super Bowls, 10 NBA Finals, and
13 Bayou Classics, along with numerous marquee events including Wimbledon, Notre Dame
football, Stanley Cup Hockey, MLB World Series, PBC Prime Time Boxing, World Cup Rugby, and
more. His talents also crossover to unscripted programming. David most recently worked with
award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien on Justice Now, exploring racism in America, and was
honored to produce DMX’s Homegoing Celebration in conjunction with BET. A writer and
storyteller by trade, David proudly held the Sports Editor position for UCLA’s Daily Bruin,
covering one of the most storied college sports programs.
