Dominic Brown (Mo)

EMMY Award-winning Chief Meteorologist Dominic Brown joined WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. in June 2017, becoming the station’s first Black chief meteorologist. Dominic is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) from the American Meteorological Society. Dominic previously worked as a meteorologist at TV stations in Norfolk, Va. and New Bern, N.C. He is a native of Locust Grove, Ga. and is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mississippi State University. Dominic enjoys giving back to the community and speaking to students. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
