Dan Glass, Ph.D.

Dr. Dan Glass is head of school at The Brandeis School of San Francisco, and has previously held leadership roles at Wildwood School in Los Angeles and The Girls’ Middle School in Palo Alto. He has written extensively on progressive education, Jewish spirituality and ethics, and contemporary poetry. He holds a Ph.D. and B.A. in English, has published four collections of poetry, and has taught elementary schoolers through undergraduates as well as adults on topics ranging from Ethics and Design to Poetics and Rap Music.
