Dr. Deborah Stroman is the founder of the Center of Sport Business and Analytics (CSBA) and professor at the University of North Carolina. She is a radio personality for two Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill radio stations, a writer, and a research advisor for the Advancement of Blacks in Sports, Inc. She serves as a consultant for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), sports teams, and sports-related organizations including the NCAA, NFL, College Football Playoff, and the Atlantic Coast Conference. CSBA activities includes the SPEIA Basketball Analytics Summit, which has received rave reviews for the intimate networking, learning, and innovative event planning, life coaching for former elite athletes (Life After Sports with Effective Results™), a mental health and wellness (No Shortcuts) workshop in partnership with the NFL Alumni Association, and racial equity education (SPARC) for athletes and the athletics industry.
