Dr. Monica Wang is an Associate Professor at the Boston University (BU) School of Public Health, an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the Associate Director of Narrative at the BU Center for Antiracist Research. She is a nationally recognized public health and health equity expert and has received numerous awards for her research, teaching, and service. She is a founding editorial member of The Emancipator, a media platform partnership between the Boston Globe and the Bu Center for Antiracist Research that will reframe the national conversation on race and racial justice.
