Fiona Ortiz

Fiona is responsible for driving best-practice sustainability reporting at Fortune-20 company Walgreens Boots Alliance, increasing transparency and accountability and improving ESG ratings and rankings. Fiona produces WBA’s yearly Corporate Social Responsibility Report, using GRI, SASB and UNGC standards and frameworks. Ortiz leads the company’s annual DJSI submission and support the annual CDP Climate Change submission. She is an experienced bilingual journalist, editor and newsroom manager. For 18 years Fiona was a foreign correspondent in Latin America and Spain, including 11 years managing bicultural teams in large bureaus. Fiona is also a certified court interpreter in the state of Illinois.
