Frances Frost is a wife, mother, author, and advocate for equitable opportunities for learning for all children. Through various roles and opportunities at the local, county, state and national PTA levels, Frances has developed her knowledge and skills in education policy, family engagement, and advocacy. She focuses on efforts to identify and address barriers to student success and parent engagement through advocacy, collaborations in the community and school district, and PTA programs, with an emphasis on equity for all children. Frances is currently on the National PTA Board of Directors. She is an Honorary Life Member of Maryland PTA and National PTA. Previously, she served as the first U.S. Department of Education Family Ambassador, and is currently working in student support and family engagement in a local school district.
