Gloria J. Browne-Marshall is the author of “She Took Justice: The Black Woman, Law, and Power.” Her many books include “The Voting Rights War” and “Race, Law, and American Society.” Gloria is a legal correspondent covering the U.S. Supreme Court, major legal cases and social justice issues. She has written for “The Milwaukee Courier” and “The AFRO.” She is a Professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College (CUNY) and has provided expertise on legal issue to media, nationally and internationally. Professor Browne-Marshall is the recipient of a Pulitzer Center grant and Frederick Lewis Allen Fellowship. Gloria is a playwright.
