James K Lin

James Lin serves as an Associate Partner at JB&B and leads the firm’s residential community of practice. He has been involved in the design and development of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
across multiple project types, including residential, hospitality, commercial office, data centers, healthcare facilities and laboratories, and is an avid advocate for Passive House design concepts, such as airtightness, on otherwise non-Passive House projects. Some of Jimmy’s high-profile residential projects include 35 Hudson Yards, 111 West 57th Street and 1212 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and 9 DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and Certified Passive House Designer.
