Janet Malzone

Janet is an audit partner in Grant Thornton’s Chicago office, with more than 25 years of public accounting experience. She is also a member of the firm’s Partnership Board and the Midwest Region Audit Practice Leader. In that capacity, she works to develop relationships in the marketplace to enhance the firm brand and identify opportunities. She has served as one of the global International Business Center directors for over six years. Janet completed a two-year secondment in London, where she was responsible for providing support, advice and service delivery to European Grant Thornton International member firm offices and their clients with respect to U.S. financial reporting issues and SEC technical reporting issues. Janet’s experience spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and various high-tech industries. Janet is Certified Public Accountant in several states including Illinois. Janet is very active in the Chicago community and serves as a Board and Audit Committee Member of Lurie’s Children’s Hospital, Treasurer of IWF, Finance Committee member of the Economic Club of Chicago, member of the NACD and FEI.
