Jenna White

Jenna is a longtime PTA advocate and leader, with over 15 years of involvement in the Northern Virginia schools.  She is currently the VA PTA Health and Safety Chair, the Fairfax County Council Representative to the Trauma Informed Community Network, and Vice President of Outreach at Glasgow Middle School. She is a champion of trauma informed schools, speaking at local schools, district conferences, and national events such as the Creating Trauma Sensitive Schools conference.  She is recognized for bring the parent voice to community efforts around trauma and resilience, selected for a Fairfax County Partnership Award in 2019.  In the spring of 2019, she was selected to the first ACE Interface Presenter Cohort in Northern Virginia, where she has attended ongoing trainings and has delivered the curriculum to multiple groups throughout the County, representing the PTA.  She recently completed training to join the Safe and Sound Schools Parent Leadership Council.
