Jenny Lumet is co-creator and executive producer of the CBS series Clarice and an EP on Star Trek: Discovery under her overall deal with CBS Studios. Upcoming projects include The Man Who Fell To Earth (Showtime), Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+), and Blackbird: Lena Horne And America (Showtime) which is based on the life of her grandmother, the incomparable Lena Horne. Ms. Lumet wrote the screenplay for the award-winning film Rachel Getting Married and wrote screen adaptations of The Center Cannot Hold and The Language of Flowers. She served as a script doctor on the films Remember Me, Bobbie Sue, Honeymoon with Harry and The Mummy. Ms. Lumet served on the council of the WGAE where she generated their first Diversity Caucus. She is an executive director of Bindercon, a conference for women and non-gender conforming writers, and holds screenwriting seminars for women of color and women over 40.
