Johnita Due is Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer for WarnerMedia News and Sports, the parent company of CNN, Turner Sports, Bleacher Report and WarnerMedia Studios. Having joined CNN in 2003, she was appointed to the newly created role in 2019 by Jeff Zucker. Among Johnita’s career accomplishments, she presides over numerous boards of directors, including WICT Global. Additionally, her honors include being named one of the Top Black Voices in Network News by Ebony magazine and a Multichannel News Woman to Watch honoree as well as receiving the Ida B. Wells Award by NABJ and the National Conference of Editorial Writers and the NAMIC Luminary Award for her commitment to promoting multi-ethnic diversity within her company and for giving back to her community.
