Joseph Bartholomew

Joseph Bartholomew is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addiction counselor in the State of Indiana.  He earned his bachelor’s degree at Indiana State University in Terre Haute and his MSW at Indiana University on the IUPUI campus.  Joseph is a doctoral student, research assistant, and adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work.  His doctoral research focuses on addiction stigma, interprofessional education and collaboration, medication-assisted treatment, SBIRT, and translational research.  Joseph’s past work experience includes over 18 years in the community mental health and substance use treatment fields.  Joseph’s past presentation experiences include presentations for the Indiana Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare, the Indiana Addiction Recovery Month Symposium, the International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
