Julie Haase

Julie is the Vice President of Washington State PTA. She has served in numerous PTA roles at the local, council, and region levels over 18 years in PTA. Her areas of expertise are nonprofit law, finance, and leadership. She was elected to the state board of directors as Secretary in 2015 and spent three years as WSPTA Leadership Director. She is focused on improving service delivery across the state and building leaders.

Julie has a B.S. in Human Development from Oregon State University and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.  She particularly enjoys teaching, writing, and speaking on topics related to servant leadership, conflict transformation, and supportive processes.  Professionally, she is a freelance writer who specializes in grants and nonprofit education resources. She enjoys quilting and knitting, catering to the whims of a big orange cat, carpool karaoke, and travelling with her family.
