Julie S. Schrager

As Schiff Hardin’s legal writing coach, Julie works one-on-one with summer associates, associates, and partners to improve their writing skills. Typically, Julie will review memos, briefs, and other documents while lawyers are drafting them and provide guidance on structure, style, and tone. Julie also conducts workshops that address common writing challenges. Recent topics include how to write persuasively, how to edit your own work, and effective writing for business lawyers. She previously taught first-year legal research and writing, worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, and was an associate at Arnold & Porter. Julie also contributes to Schiff’s recruiting and diversity efforts by hosting workshops for law students around the country.
