Katrina Norris

Katrina Norris earned her MSW degree in 2008 from IUPUI in Indianapolis. In addition, she holds four additional undergraduate degrees, two licenses, and a board certification. Katrina is the Deputy Director for Indiana’s Psychiatric Hospital Network with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction. In this role, she oversees all of Indiana’s state hospitals. Katrina spent 12 years in multiple roles within Fayette Regional Health System. In that position she opened one of Indiana’s largest withdrawal management programs for adults suffering with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring conditions. She ultimately became the Vice President of Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, overseeing 88 inpatient beds, a behavioral health outpatient clinic services, substance abuse prevention/education services in the schools and region, as well as Fayette County’s Syringe Services Program. She’s been awarded multiple grants including a $9.3 million award from ISDH in collaboration with the Ryan White Foundation, and a $1 million award from Purdue Pharma to continue combating the opioid epidemic in the State of Indiana.
