Kevin Holmes

Kevin Holmes is one of the evening anchors at KSHB-TV in Kansas City, Mo. Kevin anchors the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts in addition to turning consistent news content for all of KSHB’s platforms. Kevin is also behind a station content initiative that looks at how the city’s history has shaped its present, called “Kevin’s Chronicles of KC.” In the last year, Kevin has field anchored coverage for a number of important local stories including Kansas City’s first mass vaccination sites, civil rights protests, Super Bowl coverage and more. Before becoming an anchor at KSHB, Kevin worked as an anchor and reporter in Flint, Mich. (WJRT –TV), Memphis, Tenn. (WPTY-TV), Raleigh, N.C. (WRAL – TV), and Savannah, Ga. (WJCL – TV).
