Kiratiana Freelon

Kiratiana Freelon is a freelance multimedia journalist based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After receiving a Master of Arts in Journalism from the City University of New York, Freelon moved to Brazil in 2015 where she’s focused her reporting on social justice, Afro-Brazilian communities, transgender women, and the country’s dynamic economic and political landscape.
