Dr. Cieslak is Section Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Northwestern Medicine at Central DuPage Hospital. She holds an appointment as Associate Health Systems Clinician at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and attending physician at Ann and Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is designated as a Key Legislative Contact. Dr. Cieslak is Co-Director of Advocacy for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Lurie Children’s and is a member of the Department of Pediatrics Advocacy Board. She is a long standing member of the Lurie Opioid and Pain Management Quality Committees. Dr.
Cieslak participates on the Illinois Opioid Crisis Response Council and Children and Family sub-committee on a state-wide level. Regionally, she is featured lecturer on the topics of the Opioid Crisis and Pediatric Drug and Substance Abuse.
