Lyle Banks

Lyle Banks is the vice president and general manager of Morgan Murphy Media (WISC-TV, Phase 3 Digital and Madison Magazine) in Madison, Wisconsin. Lyle has extensive experience as a media leader, turnaround executive, business owner and board member. Some of Lyle’s media experiences include serving as general manager of WGCL-TV/Atlanta, GA, WMAQ-TV/Chicago, IL, and WAVY-TV/Portsmouth, VA, and owner of Banks Broadcasting, which owned KSCW-TV/Wichita, KS, KNIN-TV/Boise, ID, The Idaho International Film Festival, and 700 MHz digital spectrum. Lyle is a New York native, a graduate of Carleton College, and has two teenage daughters.
