Maggie Christensen

I was hired at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota in October of 2019 as the Support Team Manager.​ I came from a long history of management roles, including hospitality management and telecommunication sales management prior to finding my home at AERC.
I love learning and have worked towards completing my associates, a Bachelors in Communications, and a Bachelors in Professional and Organizational Management. I would like to complete my Practice Manager Certification as well by the end of 2021. I love to cook, travel, have new adventures, read, go to the movies, and play with my 3 cats Taco, Keith and Murphy, and my puppy Thor.​
The best thing about working at AERC and in veterinary medicine is that I love getting to work for and with amazing humans and getting to help and support our clients and patients and make a positive impact on at least one person each day. I truly love my AERC family and all the amazing work we do each day.​ Especially with the new world we live in, my team has been incredible with adjusting to all of the changes I throw their way and I am so grateful and lucky.
I am most proud of my genuine love of/for humans as well as animals.​
Fun Fact: I love Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States.
