Mariya Abedi

Mariya Abedi is a Senior Political Producer at Spectrum News NY1, where she produces the nightly political show “Inside City Hall” and launched the podcast “You Decide with Errol Louis.” She recently won a regional Murrow Award for a podcast episode exposing how Covid-19 spread through the jails on Rikers Island early in the pandemic. She previously worked for NBC New York and Pix11 News and is a graduate of NYU.
