Melissa Furukawa

Melissa Furukawa is a Passive House Consultant with experience in low energy building design and analysis. She completed her Master of Building Science degree at Ryerson University where she took courses in Building Science Theory, Energy Efficient Building Services and Renewable Energy Systems, Building Envelope Systems, Ecological and Resource Efficient Design etc. Melissa has worked on a variety of projects all over the world designing buildings that are climate-responsive by incorporating passive design elements in order to maximize user comfort while minimizing energy use. She has extensive experience in energy modeling, daylight analysis, climate analysis as well as various other engineering analyses.
