Michael Grant

Michael Grant Google News Lab Teaching Fellow. Michael Grant provides journalists with expert in-person training on a range of editorial tools from Google. Prior to Google, Grant was user experience design (UXD) editor at Reveal, from The Center for Investigative Reporting. His research as a 2018-2019 John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University explored the question, “How might we create the conditions for more journalists of color to produce online storytelling?” Grant has an extensive history of mentoring students and consulting ethnic media newsrooms of all sizes.
