Mike Jordan

Mike Jordan is an Atlanta-based journalist. He is editor-in-chief at Butter.ATL, Atlanta’s Culture Channel, and launched the Atlanta edition of Thrillist, where he served as bureau chief for several years since 2008. He frequently writes about food, entertainment, technology, business and culture for The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Eater, Good Beer Hunting, Atlanta Magazine and others. He also serves on board of directors for the Atlanta Press Club, nonprofit community journalism publication Canopy Atlanta, and an editorial advisor at Atlanta Magazine. Jordan lives in the Atlanta suburb of East Point with his wife and daughter, and enjoys cooking, reading nonfiction books and playing the alto saxophone whenever he can steal time.
