Mr. Chris Pawluk

Chris Pawluk is a Registered Psychologist who obtained his Masters in Educational Psychology from Massey University in New Zealand. Chris first registered in Alberta in 2005. He worked for Alberta Health Services and Rocky View Schools before going into private practice full-time. He is passionate about improving the lives of his clients by giving them practical ways to manage their stress and emotions.

Over the years, Chris has worked with school boards and universities across Canada to facilitate research projects and offer high-quality training for teachers, psychologists, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists. He also holds a Clinical Supervisor role within the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary for his continued supervision and mentorship of graduate students in the Counselling or School and Applied Child Psychology programs. During his time working with the Calgary and Area Regional Collaborative Service Delivery group, he began the development of a suicidal ideation assessment protocol for use in schools. This committee-developed-document led by Aleta Ambrose from AHS CAAMP is now used by numerous school boards across Alberta.
