Nathaniel Rakich
Elections Analyst
Five ThirtyEight
Inspired by a knack for numbers and a truly irrational love of local politics, Nathaniel Rakich started blogging about politics and elections (with a side of baseball) in 2011. This turned out to be a gateway to writing for The New Yorker, POLITICO, Roll Call, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Inside Elections, and the Boston Globe. Currently, he is an elections analyst at FiveThirtyEight, where he specializes in electoral trends, polling and election law. He lives just outside Boston with his partner and corgi.
