Neeraj Khemlani is president and co-head of CBS News and the CBS Television Stations, with shared responsible for the newly formed division which unifies CBS News, CBS News Digital and CBS Television Stations. Khemlani is an award-winning journalist and experienced multi-platform news and media executive. He was most recently executive vice president and deputy group head at Hearst Newspapers. He also held senior positions including president and group head of Hearst Entertainment & Syndication. Previously, he led business, product and editorial efforts across News & Information verticals at Yahoo! Khemlani has been honored with the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Alfred I. duPont–Columbia Award for coverage of the war in Bosnia. He began his career as a newspaper reporter, and after graduating from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, transitioned into television, producing for ABC News and then for 60 MINUTES and “60 Minutes II.”
