Nicole Carr

Nicole Carr is an Atlanta-based investigative reporter in ProPublica’s new South Regional Newsroom. She covers criminal justice and racial inequity. Prior to ProPublica, Nicole spent five years at WSB-TV where she served as an investigative reporter and earned multiple Southeast regional Emmy awards. In addition to covering Georgia’s historic 2020 elections and various aspects of the pandemic, Carr’s television work has been rooted in law enforcement and government accountability.
