Noni Thomas López

Now in her 25th year as an independent school educator, Dr. Thomas López was appointed Head of School at Gordon in 2018 after serving as the Assistant Head of School for Teaching and Learning at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York City. Previous to this appointment, she served as the Head of Middle School at the Nightingale-Bamford School and Middle School Director of the Calhoun School, also in New York City. Dr. Thomas-López is the Founder and Co-Director of the Interschool Leadership Institute for Educators of Color and serves as a trustee on local not-for-profit and independent school boards. Dr. Thomas-López has consulted at universities as well as public and independent schools on curriculum, diversity/equity/inclusion, and organizational leadership and regularly provides executive coaching to educational and not-for-profit leaders.
